Is Style Correlated with Intelligence and/or Wealth?

So, do you think that being a well-dressed individual with personal style and flair is related to one's intelligence and/or wealth? I say and/or, because in today's world, usually you have to have a decent head on your shoulders to land a decent job with that degree you worked so hard for.

So
1) Style = Intelligence?
2) Style = Wealth?
3) Style = a combo of both?

I think it is a combo of both...when I look at a person, a way I usually try to gauge whether or not they are intelligent is by the way they dress. Obviously I will find this out later if I were to converse with them for a bit, bit the initial impression is most important.
I also believe that dressing well conveys to some degree success, or at least some ambition to be successful, because standing out above your peers is one of the keys to doing so..

Agree/Disagree? Let's have at it.

Just because you have wealth or intellect doesn't mean you have style. True style is innate and has nothing to do with neither wealth or someone's I.Q.

from what I've seen, most of the time the correlation is inverse.

I would say that either can be bit of a pre-requisite. Either can help style to develop though they certainly don't necessarily.

I seriously doubt there are many distinctly unintelligent people who are stylish, though wealth is not necessarily required, though it helps a immeasurably for the type of style that is okayed by this forum.

I've always found the "innate" argument rather silly. Parents having style and growing up in an environment where people have style helps, but that is more nurture than nature. We would be hard pressed to show that there is something in the genes that brings style.

Style is proportional to height, while wealth is inversely proportional to width. Intelligence is correllated with spiciness, although not as reliably.

Style is not feeling embarrassed to dress nice for dirty work. It has nothing to do with intelligence or wealth, as both can be affected by upbringing and circumstance. Style is a heightened sense of comfort in bestial conditions of habitat.

As someone who works in the science field and is around some extremely brilliant minds, I can tell you firsthand that intelligence does not always equal style, unless style is ripped shorts, unkempt beards, and Tevas with socks.
