Hi there

I came across this pure cashmere blazer from Canali in my size, was wondering what you all thought since you are the experts?

He will accept 100$ for the Blazer-

Is it worth it? I am thinking yes but just wanted a second opinion!

thanks!

It would be helpful to know a little more information. First, does the picture capture the color correctly? It looks black to me. Second, is this your first sport coat, or do you have others? If this is your first, and assuming that the color is black, I'd hold out for a color that's going to be more versatile.

I really like this blazer and I've had great luck with Canali. I do agree though that if this is your first blazer, navy is a safer bet. If you're hunting for a black blazer, though, this is a steal.

+2. I've also had good luck with Canali. Speaking for myself, I would never have any use for a black sport coat. But if that is something you want, then this is a good deal.

I'd do a little more research to make sure that it's "pure" cashmere rather than a cashmere complex.

And that Harry Rosen logo is super old. Who knows when this thing was made.

That's definitely the same seller. He said he had more "items" that are the same as those in that post. There must be a reason why he hasn't gotten any responses on the thread...

thank you all for your help. I think I will pass. This is precisely why I came here.

Cheers!

Hardyboy,
I think the real questions are:
1. Is this a jacket you can really use
2. Will owning it make you happy
3. Are you willing to wait for something better?

I have 2 black cashmere jackets that I wear regularly.. at night.. Would I own them both if I was buying now? Probably not, but I'd at least own one.

Used or NWOT, it seems like a good deal. But remember.. there are other things you could use that $100 for.....

Cheers!
