Is Paris the most beautiful city in the world?

Paris is beautiful and I had no problem with the French when I was there except they would try to stick and extra entree on the bill or not bring the change back for a couple of beers. I assume the same happens in all big cities with tourists.

Paris is ok, certainly the built architecture is quite lovely. In general if you don't go high end the food is terrible and the service pretty much the same.

The brits had a joke they used to tell about that.

When God was creating the universe, one day he woke up particularly inspired.
He said then "Let's create the most beautiful place on earth, a blue coast, long rivers, beautiful lakes, high mountains etc etc...." That day God did his best creation artcraft. He had just created France !
The next day, he didn't feel so good about it, he said "It is unfair for the rest of the world that I put so much beauty concentrated in one place, Let's balance and put something awful on it to restore the cosmic equilibrium". And then he put the French on it.

The people from Canada are going to be modest, intelligent and humorous and they're going to be found traveling the world. They'll be extremely sociable, hard-working and high-achieving, and they will be known throughout the world as diplomats and carriers of peace. I'm also going to give them super-human, undefeatable ice hockey players who will be admired and feared by all who come across them."

Michael gasped in wonder and admiration but then proclaimed. "What about balance, God. You said there will be BALANCE!"

God replied wisely. "Wait until you see the loud-mouth bastards I'm putting next to them."

London (and Tokyo) might be the most fun city in the world, but I'd say Paris is sure the purtiest. the wife and I are going back to Paris at end of March with my folks to celebrate my dad's 80th

I don't think that is fair. There are plenty of good people in France, they just don't live in Paris.

I was not impressed with Paris at all. Yes the architecture is beautiful but it appears to be going downhill fast. Their open immigration policy has turned some nice areas into ghettos.
