Is my blazer too long?

I'm trying to figure out if my blazer is way too long or OK long (I think its a little long). I'm asking because I went to suit supply and they thought I looked better in a S size instead of a R. When I went to Spier and Makey in Toronto (after) and bought a suit, they thought the R size was good. So I'm trying to figure out if my current blazer (39R) is way too long or a perfectly fine length. If it looks ridiculously long then I would have to shorten it a bit obviously, but if its only a tiny bit long, I'd prefer not to spend $50+ on shortening it. My fingers do curl around the end of the blazer, but I also may have longer arms than most... Here is a blazer pic:

how tall are you?
The angle of the photo is not ideal for assessing length (you are tilting the camera downward) but to me it looks fine.

Most SuitSupply associates seem to be trained to put people into tight/short jackets. The Spier & Mackay folks seem to go for a more classic look.

I am 5'11". I do prefer the classic look but don't want to look super old fashioned. I want something that still be acceptable/in fashion 5-10 years from now. Thank you!

At 5'11 you should definitely be in a regular length unless you have an unusually short torso.

If you can take a picture with a better angle it would be great.

Length is great.
I think the dark brown herringbone would be fine. It’s a very versatile pattern/color.

I guess it's acceptable, but my own preference would be slightly shorter for a sports jacket (which to me is the same as blazer). As a suit, good length. As a sports coat? A tad too long.
