Well of course you have to drink Monday to kill that Sunday night hangover. Monday morning, I usually go with a Baltimore Breakfast (A raw egg in a glass of beer you chug), or a couple Irish Coffees.

Can't show up to work with a nasty hangover.

It's only OK if you start early in the morning, drinking from lunchtime onwards has to be considered as an mostly appropirate part of lunch/dinner/in between snack and therefore isn't real drinking.
