A conservative dresser that is. From various photos, he seems to favor a mildly conservative mode of dress, tinged with the '60s, which of course, suits him. It suits him, especially in regards to the rather sexually obscene image he tends to have as a director--quite a nice contrast of esthetics. Please note that this is also a man who uses Creme de la Mer while making scatalogical films.

He projects an image of a more overtly decadent David Niven.

He's 60 years old and he has figured out what works for him. So he's conserving his own look. I think he prefers certain labels, like CdG. But the look is not so conservative in the standard sense. He talks about it here: http://nymag.com/fashion/lookbook/24358/

From limited interviews and the like I've heard, he seems to be a relatively conservative person (in terms of how he lives his life, not his politics or his art).

Waters told interviewer Teri Gross (on NPR's Fresh Air) that the only social issue on which he takes a "conservative" stance is the prohibition against wearing white after Labor Day. Anyone who has seen Serial Mom will not be surprised.

I don't think he is conservative for a business environment.
