Is it worth getting high speed internet?

I'm an old school guy still on dial up. I don't download much music, watch much porno, and I don't play video games. Is high speed internet worth it?

i think now its probably cheaper to supply dsl/cable, than it is to supply dail up

basic DSL can be as low as $15 a month. How much is your dial-up? Or, just get a wireless card and see if there are any open/public networks to connect to.
