That's the look women want as opposed to the preppie look favored on this forum.

SF look only works if you have the mansions and cars to back it up, which nobody here does.

Women will take the jacked guido in a tee any day over the skinny preppie in a $2k suit and an even bigger credit card bill.

Truth hurts.

It's a great way to earn a sweet nickname. Like "The Mortician" or "The Waiter".

Off Topic: I know Banana Republic gets ragged on a lot but I really like their plain tees. So soft and well fitting.....mmmmmmm.

Not everyone is going to agree with this, but I'll second this post. Always wearing a black tee is essentially giving up on dressing yourself. Black t-shirt + blue denim + generic sneakers is one of the dullest things you can put together.

+1, the "vintage" tee is just going to give the impression that you haven't bought a new t-shirt in ten years.

Huh? edit: nevermind, read the rest of the thread and it would appear you are a fucktard.

Come on now, this is as silly as the "you need to be a lumberjack to wear plaid" or "you need to have a boat to wear boat shoes" arguments. There's nothing wrong with being inspired by certain themes or styles no matter how distinct they might appear. And I can't see any reason why you would even want or need to go whole hog and adopt the aesthetic's supposed lifestyle, just so that you can feel more 'authentic'? Please, fashion is about acknowledging clothes for themselves, and not just as a uniform for a particular demographic. If you really don't think clothes should be detached from their origin, then I think you are completely missing the point of fashion.
