is it possible to convert notch lapel to peak lapels?

i bought a double breasted tuxedo, i didnt notice it was notch lapel till i got home. i was wondering if its possible to ask a tailor to fix it into a peak lapel.

No way. Even if you had extra fabric. I hope you can return it.

ohh okay thank you, you think its okay db tux with notch lapels? when i wore it at the store it look good and didnt notice the lapel.

A DB tuxedo with notch lapels... It sounds odd.

Notch lapels are not appropriate for tuxedos, DB coats, and doubly inappropriate for DB tuxedos.

This is interesting. Since the tuxedo has another fabric for the lapels, you could possible source some stain or grosgrain and have it attached to give it peak lapels. Hopefully you're good friend's with your tailor.

i return the thing and i got a peak lapel double breasted 4 button. its a tux okay to be 4 button db?
