to wear a blue oxford to work every day? Not the exact same shirt, but the same style. Getting kind of bored trying to match tie and shirt during the morning rush of trying to get out of the house and thinking of just going with simplicity of a nice crisp blue shirt and a different tie.

Is it ok? sure. There is no law saying you must have a different color shirt on.

I wear a white shirt almost every day.

Don't ask anyone else...it is entirely up to you and what you are comfortable with.

I think it was Einstein that had several sets of the same outfit. He said that way he never had to think about what he was going to wear.

Yes, why not? If it simplifies things and you're happy with the look, it's win-win.

While I will agree there is nothing wrong with having a signature look, I find the true essence of this site (and the thinking of its members) is to showcase tasteful creativity. While I might be alone here, standing in front of my closet each morning or night is one of my favorite parts of my day. Thinking about new combinations and ways to put a spin on something I have already worn keeps things fun and interesting. More importantly, it keeps my interest in clothing and style up-to-snuff. I fear once one settles into a state of uniform complacency they slowly begin to abandon their imaginative fervor in their style.

That said I have a standard hangover uniform that is easy and mindless. I fear I wear this uniform far too often, however :D.

It's kind of boring and very middle-manager to wear the same thing every day. Does your CEO wear the same shirt every day?

Pretty much...jeans and a blazer. Best example is Tom Ford. I've never seen him anything but a white shirt and black suit and I don't think anyone questions his creativity.

If you're happy with your choices, one colour, or mostly one colour is just A-OK.

If you're not happy, that's another matter entirely. :)
