Is it Normal for a High-end vintage Italy sportcoat to not have Lapel's button hole?

Hi guys, I found a Vintage Brioni on Ebay.

I look very decent and authentic. The only problem is that it don't have any button hole on the Lapel, the Lapel is just SOLID

Is this situation Normal? or should I avoid this item at all cost ?

It’s fairly normal and common for vintage coats from all countries of all qualities not to have a lapel button hole. I’ve seen and owned several. If you like it and it’ll fit don’t let that deter you. If it really bothers you I’m sure a tailor could probably put one in the lapel.
