Is it necessary to make the denim jump?

i personally find it hilarious that you are willing to tap out three extra letters when you type APC just to make sure everyone knows you don't like them

I personally find the ascribing of homosexual properties to denim hilarious.

at least for me, the first priority for jeans is how they fit. They may fade incredibly or be made of ridiculous 24oz denim(samurai lol) but if they don't fit well..it's not worth it. People are willing to spend big for a good fit(dior). If APC's fit you better than the higher end brands, then I don't see why you shouldn't stay with them

Agreed. I personally love the fabric and finish of Samurai and PBJ jeans. However, they fit me terribly. It took me a few purchases to figure that out. Eventually, I settled on the Naked & Famous Slim Guy. It works great for my physique, and I've got it in every single fabric variant that they made. I'd say to search around and find which fit works the best for you.

Is that product placement I'm hearing?

You've got some Slim guys quite cheap on the site.

There aren't a lot of options that interest me in the Crate/APC price range. I don't have a problem with the denim, but I like a postwar 501 fit myself.

For that, you don't necessarily have to spend $300+ - LVC is ~$200 from Cultizm for a range of rigid models, Warehouse runs $220-250 from Blue in Green.

I spend almost all of my time in either LVC 501 1947 or Iron Heart 634S. I've recently been committed to working the Iron Hearts because of how well the 21 oz. denim breaks in over time. I don't like when my jeans blow out the crotch just when I get them where I like them. By my guess so far (and by what Kiya and others have said on this topic) IH 634S will last 3 times longer (maybe more) than most of these other brands. They don't fade fast, but really wiked fadz are not so important to me. The truth is, they are probably a much better deal than most of high end jeans based on how long you will wear them. None of that will keep me from picking up some 45RMP's when I find them at a reasonable price, but for now, I'm pretty happy.
