Is it just me or site speed exrtra slow ?

Ever since the new look started, the forums is really crawling, I mean really slow. I have cable with the optional higher speed, and am not having problems with other sites. But I click into a post, and I might as well go fix a cup of coffee, and come back. Anybody else having problems, i can't believe it's just me.

It is not you . I have the same problem with the site. Depends on the time of day. It does get annoying since no other sites are this bad.

avatars and sponsors aren't loading as quickly and it makes loading the page slow for me as well.

Im on the same boat, slowwwwww. is there some feature or way of blocking all the ads on the site? I would not mind paying for this, say $15 membership that blocks all the ads or more maybe???

It will be slower than usual for the first couple of days with the new system. It is doing a lot of background tasks right now like creating the search engine index, etc. If the slowness persists beyond a couple of days, please post in the 'New Forum Support' forum and the dev team can take a look at it.
