The main line still has some cool stuff. The JV*USA line is decent but mostly found at discount stores. It is mostly okay quality but hardly exceptional. I would avoid the suits at all costs.

I'm guessing most of it is beyond his control. He cashed out.

i like john varvatos shoes, but its getting close to mark nason, and his clothes seem like logoless version of monarchy or ed hardy or somethin

His dress shirts that I saw at Filene's Basement are pretty awful.

More like Joseph Abboud - both great starts, both CFDA awards. Both faded. I still like some of his basics (like henleys) at deep discount, but seriously, the line is a huge disappointment given how promising and fresh everything looked in 2001.

What's wrong with his suits? I purchased one at Bloomingdale's on sale, and it fits great and looks great. The material feels quite nice. It's difficult for me to find a suit that fits slim enough for me outside of the price range of Thom Browne and Dior.
