There are probably harder classes in pure math and physics. But there are none as competitive as those you take with pre-meds (like Orgo).

It can be either easy or exceedingly difficult depending on whether you are good at math/calculus/statistics.

Those were never even on my radar, but I am sure they suck as well. Analysis, looking back, was a good course. During the process it was the *****.

If you have to ask this question, the answer is probably yes.

Being good at real analysis has nothing to do with how good you are at calc or stats. Completely different topics of math.

Agreed.

Abstract algebra isn't that bad actually. Pure math courses are some of the hardest math courses I have ever taken, and graduate real analysis is probably one of the hardest courses I ever sat in (I majored in physics and took plenty of grad physics classes).

I think the question was about econometrics, not analysis.

Yes for a first year grad (Been there done that) however you will not realise how important the concepts are later once you get into a business career. If you can master this and numbers you will standout from all the pretenders amongst work colleagues. Persevere with it.

The hardest class you will take will be an 8 am on either Monday morning or whatever morning is after $2 pitcher & $1 shooter night.

The professionals build their class schedule around specials nights at the bars
