Is a 6x1 DB tuxedo outdated?

I was shopping last night and found an Ermenegildo Zegna 6x1 DB peak lapel tux NWT for a very low price. It also fits almost perfectly OTR. My question is whether this style is outmoded or simply less common than a SB tux or even possibly 6x2 DB. Can I wear it to my wedding?

Thanks!

Does it have a keystone button stance? Imagine a line connecting all the buttons.

Or are the bottom four arranged like a square, and the top two wider-spaced?

If keystone, it is not only outdated, it would be fugly at any time. If the latter, then it is a classic "Kent" style DB.

I think it was kinda like this:

(Speaking of fugly, how about my MS Paint skill?)

I felt it was pretty outdated and perhaps fugly - which is why I did not buy a NWT Zegna tux for $120

Yeah, that's the bad kind. Very '80s. Fugly even then.

For shawl, yes. For peak, either 6x2 or 4x1 can be considered classic.

If I ever got another one, I think it would be 4x1 shawl. Long way off, that.
