1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

All these kinds of armour is getting a bit dumb.

You're Tony Stark. You've already created flexible, mobile, suit of armour that can run off an infinite powersource housed in your own chest.

Make one type of dang armour than can cover all your bases, DANGIT!

The only thing I took away from that trailer was Gwyneth Paltrow in her bra and panties.

I thought Extremis comes from within his body?

I think he gets Extremis near the end of the film; that moment will be similar to Bruce getting out of the prison in TDKR.

It's a movie so they could be remaking it so it isn't so complicated or too ridiculous like nanotech crawling out of his bones through his skin to create an armor. It could also be the SKIN armor. We'll find out in 2 months.

The Mandarins magical rings aren't imbued in IM3. I'm slightly disappointed, but at the same time I understand. They're supposedly doing The Mandarin for IM they same way Nolan did The Joker for Batman. Giving him enough characteristics from the comics so you are aware of who it is, but keeping it more realistic for the audience.

Pretty sure realistic went out the window the second Norse gods were being thrown around by giant, green monsters.

Did anyone think that Iron-Man ever felt realistic?

I mean.. in a sense, he is. He doesn't have any magical properties or super powers, just technology. I'd imagine we will have something like an Iron Man suit in many years to come. There's already functional robots. Japan recently put out one for $1.2M that you can ride around in
