    Just use CVS cloth tape, much easier.

    I totally get the desire to repair one's clothing in order to extend it's useful life. But consistent with the desire to care for one's clothing should be a proper washing program. That sock is dirty, and needs a thorough cleaning.

    All, Please remind me to avoid all posts from Iroh involving the repair of underwear!

    :facepalm:

    {edit - beat me to the trigger Ed!}

    Iroh, please don't post pictures of your dirty laundry. None of us want to see it.

    I admire the 'waste not, want not' spirit of your post. Have you met our member Reevolving? You might find him to be a kindred spirit.

    Dude, this thread is horrible and wrong, and it's the first time i laughed out loud at a first post on SF. Thank you!

    If you really are serious. They've obviously served their purpose and deserve to go where all used up socks go when they die. Just... let go, it's what they would have wanted you to do.

    Sock looks great to use as a pocket square if you are Frankenstein's monster.
