I saw a picture of a product that may or may not be coming out in the summer, an iPod video adapter that will allow you to watch movies off your ipod. I find the idea pretty cool for traveling, to be able to carry a significant amount of entertainment on the road.

I was just about to buy myself the new little tiny ipod, and then when I saw this I thought I would wait - I don't need a full sized ipod for music, but if it can be adapted for video then I would get one for that.

anyway - does anybody know anything about it?

I haven't heard a thing about it. Where did you see this?

I saw it, in glancing, in a magazine, and now I can't figure out what magazine. it looked a little like a frame with a 4 inch screen that fit over an iPod.

It will almost definitely be overpriced for its quality and feature set too.

ok, now that a few years have past, anybody watching movies on their Ipod? can anybody tell me how easy/difficult it is to put a movie from a dvd onto an ipod? I don't really want to buy everything from apple, I'd like to be able to use my own content, as much as possible.

thanks

I see a lot of people watching soaps on the train in HKG on their Iphone. That's all the input I have unfortunately.

Very easy with low cost third party software, but watching a movie on an iPod...Buy a jeweler's loop.
