They'll cry for a week and then live with it. Sheeps.
Phil Schiller said that Apple will not be making an iPhone 5 charging dock. I find this really odd. I'm either going to get another Lightning adapter (already bought one for my bedroom dock) for my iPhone dock in my home office or get a third party dock if they are made down the road.
Was thinking of delaying upgrading to ios 6 until google comes out with a maps app. Then I remembered my iphone 5 is arriving tomorrow and will come with ios 6 preloaded.
It's about trade offs. It's sucks, but some are willing to live with it for all the other advantages the platform gives.
My hope is this pushes completion. I want Windows Phone 8 to catch up with apps. I want Android to succeed and become more comprehensive with its ecosystem. Completion is a good thing.
Doesn't seem that odd to me - have you seen the size of the lightning connector? Imagine the complaints Apple and other accessory makers would get when folks snap off the connectors when docking and undocking their phones. Apple knowingly killed the whole concept of a dock with lightning.
I'm looking forward to receiving my 5 in the mail tomorrow although a friend has done a good job convincing me to switch from ATT to VZW so now I'm wondering whether to deal with the pain of switching. I have a 4g VZE ipad but quickly realized I don't regularly need 4g on the ipad so I turned it off. If I switch to VZW with their new shared plan it would only be $10 a month to add the ipad to my data plan.
For me the biggest shame with the iphone 5 is that Apple wasn't able to shoehorn a bigger screen in same form factor. The new motorola razr m fits a 4.3" screen in almost exactly the same form factor (iphone 5 is 2.31x4.87x.30 inches, razr m is 2.39x4.82x.33).
Spoiler: Warning: Spoiler!
These are fucking hilarious.
Yeah, I can't stop laughing at that sign.
Another winner even if its just icon art.
That's the best one yet, and the saddest one because if Jobs were still around, that person's head would be gone.
The blog that was posted here is win.
Doesn't Apple's current management do the same thing, e.g. Tim Cook? - apparently not. The late Steve would have probably said "This is crap, you're fired!".
I could believe that they're just as ruthless, but it's the attention to detail that seems to be missing.
