Interesting that they made no mention of the new connector "Lightning" being any faster. I figured that would be one of the major selling points. Maybe they will provide details on this later.

first they talked about the connector and how it has served them well for 10 years. Then how "wireless" is such an important feature these days. So for a moment I thought about the possibility of a wireless connector and/or charger. My mind would have been blown.

I had the same reaction, but maybe they are hinting at features for the iPhone 6.
