I agree. They may be in short supply at launch. Luckily, I will only need one dock adapter. USB cables on the other hand? At least two extras beyond the one that will come with the phone.

Probably. I have an iPhone 4 and my two year contract will be up. Figure I will trade in or sell it for cash to use on the new one.

Honestly, I am so bought into Apple's ecosystem with apps and media that it wouldn't make a lot of sense to switch. Not that I'm not tempted to do so. iOS works well, but I have been using it so long that it would be fun to try something new.

Hmm, I always buy my iphone from the apple store so I can't go through my provider's (AT&T) dummy tech support I don't think.

A couple weeks at most and you'll say the same about the new OS. Believe me. Having Flash (and, of course, much more) is a blessing after so much time.

they probably do not, what I learned in 9th grade was that after the item had been replaced or fixed x times, they had to give you a new one.

Pretty much what I learned was that after my phone being replaced by warranty 3 times, ATT would upgrade me to another device. That device then carries a warranty of 3 moths because it is refurbished. Repeat the process within those three months and I had another phone. I had just about every phone that came out for ATT that was worth having.

I am not saying that what I did was okay, it was not, because I was clearly taking advantage of the system but it was fun while I did it.

So you make up a problem after six months of use just to get a newer phone to resell?

How proud your family must be.

Oh, I'm not expecting to be wowed by iOS 6. It's an improvement over 5, but not like they rewrote the book. They mainly added features they were lacking and tweaked things.

Could care less about mobile FLASH. In fact, I am glad they don't support it. Had a HP Touchpad for a while and most problems that thing gave me were related to it.

Don't play that game. The different OS' each have advantages and disadvantages. We just happen to not see mobile FLASH as an advantage. Considering it's going away, as Adobe is dropping support, in time hardly anyone will.
