Shah if you are interested in Android I'd wait till October. Rumors are that Google will show off the next Nexus line of phones. Generally those are the only Android handsets you should want to get. Stock Android out of the box and full access to updates.

My iPhone seems horribly slow when not on wifi. Granted I'm on Sprint, but still. It has trouble keeping a 3g signal. I did a speed test last night and got a 1,310 ms ping with 0.09 Mbps download and 0.00 upload. Is it possible there's something wrong with my wireless radio/antenna? I haven't seen 4g once (and it worked from time to time on my Android phone, though I know Sprint doesn't have LTE in this area).

Why did you get the Sprint version if you knew they didn't have LTE rolled out where you live? I'd have looked at the coverage maps and gone with one that does.

Sprint has always had slow 3G data. That's to be expected when on that band.

A few reasons - I like SERO and am grandfathered on unlimited data, so assuming they EVENTUALLY roll it out, I'm ok for the time being. And I work at home, so for the majority of the time I'm on wifi and 3G/4G doesn't matter. And my work phone is on Verizon, so I have LTE on that.

But slow is something like 1.5 mbps down. 0.09 Mbps is barely functional. I'm also getting some text messages ~an hour after they're sent.

I haven't been keeping up on this thread, because well I have a life over the weekend, but I can say I was irritating the shit out of my girlfriend yesterday. Whenever we were in a crowd I would say very loudly, "Excuse me while I check the time on my IPHONE 5!!!" She was getting very embarassed.

I'd poke around some message boards that are focused on the IPhone or Sprint and ask. Maybe others are having issues. Could be a bug iOS for the Sprint version or a network issue in your area with the carrier.

I wonder how Scuff-gate is going to impact the delivery time of my pre-order from Verizon. Shipping date is estimated 10/5. I hate to wait but am so happy I'm one of the "morons" that decided to see if there was a problem with the initial roll out.

What's the deal with cases for this thing? Apple didn't have any.
