1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

It is. You would need to get it unlocked to use another carrier's SIM card.

This is what I thought and the links I provided seem to back up. That's why I was so surprised when he told me what the sales reps in the store informed him. It's the very reason he passed on the phone that day. Amazing how ill-informed staff can be at some of these carrier stores.

You are right that selling an iPhone 5 within a year would make up most of any ETF. That's another good point to consider.

You can get it unlocked and use it in most places...but the frequencies won't always match up with the local carriers so while voice will definitely work, 4G and even 3G might not work depending on the phone version.

    iMessage?

You could use an google voice or whatsapp if you don't want to pay for the extra texts.

never believe the sales reps at phone stores, IMO they all suck.

I was talking to a girl at the Verizon store and she mentioned how tech savvy she was, how she built a her own gaming machine and downloads all the time. I asked her how big her HDD was and she said 1TB. :plain: I had 10 TB in my machine when I was in high school and a graphics card that made fat girls look pretty, plus the 16 GB of ram.

oh and dont get me started on the blue LEDs on my fans, power source, motherboard. and the wiring was just...:inlove:

You know that commercial where the kid gets Siri to call him Rock God? That makes me wonder, can you rename Siri? Get the program to answer to another name?
