Could anyone suggest a bank or any other financial fund in the world where I can put a sum of (AUD) money to grow over a period of time? I understand its a difficult time in the financial market but I need to start putting away some of the hard earned instead of investing it on quality clothing.

the last place you want to get investment advise is from the internet board, much less a clothing forum.

Well put.

I might also add that it's unclear that anyone can systematically outperform the market unless investing x>$10m.

Depending on how much money you have to put away, Id suggest a swiss/ or off-shore bank account. Again, depending on the amount, you could earn very nice percentage.

Yes I was thinking the same thing. Which banks would be the best to start an account with in that regard?
