Anything on the Single Donegal yet? In particular, the order form for it. Thanks.

^ so here's what happened with that: i waited for her to send them to me. as in images of the different yarns. but she had intended to actually mail them to me. When i asked she said the thicknesses wouldn't really register in an image. i said okay and left it at that. judging from the responses id say there's not that much interest in the single donegal so i didn't really pursue it. sorry. if you sent her a message i'm sure she could set you up with the order form for the single d. i remember her saying the single knits were cheaper, don't know by how much. she could probably even get you the swatches.

oh and in case anyone wants something other than wood buttons they also do faux leather one. haven't seen them don't know what they look like.

Looking to get either a Wine or Navy 6A sometime during the fall.

Should I size up from my Stark?

Any idea what they may have in stock right now? I can't decide whether I should order something from End, try to get it directly, or whether I should go donegal something

How does one go about ordering? From the order form posted earlier in this thread it's significantly cheaper to buy directly from Inverallan rather than End. Waiting isn't an issue.

I figured it was a long shot but why not ask anyway. I'll probably pick a donegal and maybe inquire about a second piece if they have anything basic lying around. Thanks for the help

    Thanks.

Size up or down for the 6A? I have one of the newer fit Starks in L and usually wear 42R in suits and SCs.

yeah Regg that's pretty much what id do. she's super helpful and you never know there might be some stock still kicking around

Olafg i would't size down. tts or size up one. ive never worn an inverallan so i cant really speak to the actual thickness of the wool. it's thick tho. but some people gave some good input on the fit of theirs. id look at what they say, look at the size chart i posted and compare measurements to your stark. you know, get scientific like about it :)

    edit: kj's prolly right

    Howdy pals

Could anyone with a garment from Inverallan help a man on the road with some sizing information?

I'm looking to get a 3A or 6A cardigan in size 38 and was wondering about whether the stock sleeve lengths are sufficient for someone 6' 2" - (I usually wear 34½" or 35" sleeves in RTW shirts).

Reason I'm asking is that I tried asking them by mail first, and got quoted 30" for sleeve length on a sz. 38 3A when measured from the center back. This seems really, really short to me - like they'd measured it in a straight line from the middle of the back or something, instead of roughly over the shoulder?

Which is to say, I'd be really grateful for some sort of confirmation about approximate sleeve lengths from anyone with a garment in size 38/40, as it'd I'd avoid me pestering them and wasting their time with further clarifying questions.

6ft 3in and about a 38 chest here - I would agree with others sizing advice and size up unless you like a really trim fit. I'd also go for the 40 on the basis of the sleeve length; it's still a shade short for me (normally a 35-36 sleeve length) but should be good for you at 34.5-35.

Will post measurements in a moment.

Thanks, that clears things up a bit. Actual sleeve measurements would be spiffy and much appreciated as well!
