    They make turtlenecks?

    I'm pretty much the same.

Russian fur hat should be bought in Russia and I don't think it gets cold enough here for them.

With your knitwear game, I'm not surprised.

I have an LVC cardigan in the wine color and it's awesome.

I put a search through google and two or three pictures came up. Not a whole lot of info on it. However, they hand knit sweaters in Scotland, so i'd be really really surprised if they didn't (or at least would) make a roll neck jumper.

I placed a direct order with Inverallan last week and received it today (it was in stock, but they only keep a small stock of a few models/colors).

No "Inverallan" tag on the knit, as people have said.

Shannon was immensely helpful. Others have posted instructions for ordering directly from Inverallan in the last few pages, but since Shannon is quite overwhelmed with the influx of inquiries from SF, feel free to PM me if you need more info.

The only pics that come up on google are from here of an Inis Meain knit.

I was able to find a few offering. These guys must be huge in Japan if their sweater can bring in these prices...

if anyone is looking to buy a wine 6a, end has a full size run up. they're more expensive than ordering direct ($260 + shipping), but you also don't have to wait 12 weeks.

If anyone has received a response regarding the availability of heathered/marled colors, please post. Just trying to minimize inbound spam for Inverallen.

Inverallan used to have Donegal tweed and Aran marled yarns. I asked about the Aran marled and was told that their supplier no longer supplies marled yarns.

It's very warm and I feel as though I can wear it with just a longsleeve tee and be alright in 20-30F weather. It's also quite heavy. The weave is thick and the wool is on the coarser side. It's like a beefier version of SNS Herning knits.

These Donegal Tweeds are currently available. I only inquired about blues and purples. And the orange, for laughs. To my eye they are all pretty awesome, plus I have a feeling they look better in person. There are other shades that may become available down the road (of blue and purple), but Shannon doesn't have color cards for them at the moment. She has been very prompt with her replies. And patient. Very patient. I recommend you don't pester her about when the other shades of blue and purple will be available. She explained that this is a busy time of year for Inverallan. In terms of priorities for them, I'd say servicing the needs of nitpicky internet fashun headz (that's including me) falls quite low on their list. Let's not make this a Dayton situation. Seriously. If you have questions, post them up here, hopefully it can find an answer through one of us. I know I still have a few. Part of the reason why I've taken this long to post this (the color cards that is) is I wanted to get the go-ahead from her. In light of the fact it's their heavy season, I would not suggest asking about Blacks, Grays, Greens, Oatmeals, or other Donegal Tweed options. Seems there's plenty to choose from. Just my two cents. I have also offered to help mitigate the flood of questions she's been getting. She liked this idea. And I don't mind, honestly. I've already exchanged quite a few emails with her. If there's something specific you guys all want to know, for instance what other DT colors are available, or the cost of other DT knits, shoot me a pm and I could include it in a bulk email. It would save time and would certainly cut down on the confusion on her end since she wouldn't have to reply to so many individual emails. Just throwing that out there.

Pricing for a Donegal Tweed 6A: £160. Not bad. No VAT deduction. Payment due when item is ready to ship.

    Lead time: 14 weeks minimum.
