Convince me that my Espresso suede Lowndes aren't right and I need suede Spoosters......

    I want mottled sienna spoos!

I love the new nickname

Is there anyone who has both, or who has handled both who could chime in on the shape? cough "spoo" cough

The construction on the shoe is superb, as many on this forum can attest to. It has a model/shape that no one else seems to have right now, so it will be unique. The suede they have looks to have a great nap as well, giving the shoe some great texture.

I can vouch for the construction - I have Porters in mottled navy!

I think I will call the Matthews the Spoosters.

Sounds more like a pair of sneakers though!

I would like to hear people's opinions on those vs. the Lowndes though...

Spoosters it is. Your espresso suede Lowndes aren't right. How did I do?

How would you describe the 101 last? Maybe then we can compare it to the Lowndes :)

Even if they are similar, I would rather give my business to you and get amazing shoes with trees :slayer:

I love being the forum ambassador for DCL

The Matthew is better if you have a higher arch, and prefer something a bit sleeker - lets compare it best to JL 8000 or GG TG73. The 102 Clayton last is a bit more rounded toe, not the best for ultra high arches, and a bit "flatter" if that makes sense. Id compare that best to a JL Vale, or perhaps CJ 348.

Now who are the last two motherfuckers in on this ordering party? :D

As far as I know you are the only one on here that owns a pair on both lasts, so you are the expert :D

Now I kind of want the Clayton in suede as well :inlove: Easier to get five for that?

Can any of you who have D.C Lewis shoes on last 101 shed some light how do those fit in respect to C&J Last 337 and EG last 888 and 82? Any info is appreciated.
