Welcome. Our latest GMTO is with @Carmina, here: https://www.styleforum.net/threads/...fficial-thread.241469/page-2722#post-11325289Hello all,
A fairly long-time lurker decided it was time to finally register and get more involved. I'm from Toronto, travel a fair bit to NY and London, and given my age, like to believe I've somewhat honed in my personal sense of style. Of course, inevitably something new comes around and I realize I don't have it all quite figured out. Looking forward to engaging with you all, but perhaps most of all, looking forward to participating in some of the GMTOs!
Cheers!

Hello Wilfred, welcome to the forum!Hello everyone!
I'm Wilfred, a classic menswear enthusiast hailing from the UK who loves bow ties and tweeds. I take a lot of my inspiration from the 20's and 30's. I'm also new here.
In my spare time, I play the piano and compose music.
Hello Humbug, you’re looking for suits. Can you be more specific? I’m not located in your area but will try to assist. Welcome aboard!Hello! I have a poor habit of jumping down enthusiast rabbitholes and have ended up spending too much time here in my search for a good suit. I'm in the DC/NOVA area but not a native to it (because who is, really).
Thank you! I don't wear suits too often so I was hoping to just pick up something that fits well, will wear easily and last a while. I'm aiming for within the $300-400 range so I'm not expecting to land on something fully canvassed, but hopefully something that'll be good value anyway. Thrifting/shopping used as a 36r hasn't been especially fruitful so far.Hello Humbug, you’re looking for suits. Can you be more specific? I’m not located in your area but will try to assist. Hello Raccoon, a person is never too old to learn and to embrace new horizons. Welcome to the forum!Hello all,
I am a 26 year old from Milan, long time lurker that is now trying to find his style since lately my tastes have changed a bit, maybe that's because I am getting old now!
I hope to find inspiration and engage with you all!

Hi, and welcome. Congratulations. Take a look around the Classic Menswear forum, and of course, feel free to post a thread. Details about your body type (so if you can do off the rack with alteration, or MTM, or need full custom), time, formality, and venue of wedding, and of course, that thing we hate discussing, budget, all factor into your opportunities, as does any travel you might be doing. For example, if you are going to Hong Kong, a trip to The Armoury might not be a bad first step.Hi everyone, I’m James and obviously new to the forum. I’ve come here looking for some inspiration and guidance on finding the right tailor and outfit for my upcoming wedding. I live in Melbourne, Australia.
Looking forward to learning a lot from much smarter people than myself.
Cheers!
Hi James, there are many knowledgeable folks in our forum. As to inspiration, in my experience what inspires us is largely subjective. Be patient & over time you will ultimately become your best guide. ‘Nuff said. Welcome to the forum!Hi everyone, I’m James and obviously new to the forum.
