Hi, Retired & 50's. Have been using SF as a resource as I kit out my son for college with a minimal formal wardrobe. Have enjoyed the content, and has piqued my interest sufficiently that I have started to look again at what I wear on a day to day basis. Have extensive collection of more formal attire from the 90's purchased in Europe that no longer fit my ... eerrrm ... now more ample size. Newer US and especially online suppliers are what I am looking at most, however issues of sizing and unknown fit are what are holding me back most.

Hi, I'm Bill, found my way here by way of going down the Alden shoe "rabbit hole". That after getting really into mechanical watches at the beginning of the pandemic. I know there's so much more out there and look forward to reading the threads here!

Hi RoWW, keep searching and you'll find your proper fit. Have you had your measurments taken recently? Try looking at department store offerings online as well as in person and independent men's clothing shops. Welcome to the forum!

This is a thread in which you introduce yourself, regulars and new members alike. This is one thread I'd like to keep reasonably civil and reasonably clean, so, let's do that, okay?

I'll start. I'm Fok, one of the adminstrators on the forum. I have a bunch of kids and live in Idaho. If anyone told me any of the above 6 years ago, I would have wanted whatever they were smoking.

I wear jeans 24/7 - mostly Triple Works and RRL, and otherwise, have a lot of belts and overpriced Italian made sneakers. I mix up Wings+Horns, RRL, Jil Sander, Margiela, Haversack, Woolrich Woolen Mills, and SNS Herning,

Hope that you guys have a good time on the forum.

Cheers,

Fok.
Hi
My name is Harry from the UK.
I like wearing jeans and casual tops.
The problem is, I have not got a clue about colour coordination, I have just posted a thread and hope someone can give me a bit of advice on it.
Thank you

Hello Harry, I'm happy to assist. Simple rules of thumb to follow would be to wear in combinations of light and dark. For example if your wearing dark wash jeans then combine with light colored shirts (regardless of casual unstructured t- shirts, Henley's, polos or button down shirts). Therefore the opposite would hold true as well. Wear light wash denim with darker shirts. Shirts that have stripes or bold patterns are best worn with non patterned pants or jeans without bold streaks.

Hi all, I'm Hope. Looking for info on two beautiful items of men's clothing and boots that despite Googling my head off, I still can't find. Hoping someone here will have heard of them. TIA!

Newbie here. My name is Eric and I’ve recently become a boot guy. From the military I’ve liked boots. Now I own several red wings and a Thursday pair.
