Hello all, my name is Basu and I am from Bangalore, India. I am a corporate lawyer by profession and specialise in M&A and private equity matters.

Of course, given my profession, I need to dress formally throughout the work week, and therefore have gradually built up an interest in formal shoes and business wear plus men's style in general. My wardrobe is still in a nascent stage (compared to many of the members here!) but am looking to slowly and surely create a quality wardrobe over the next few years. Other than suits, also love the sport coat/blazer and odd trouser combination which I am seeking to induct into my personal wear. India has a few good tailors who do quality work at a reasonable price, but for high quality shoes, one mostly has to look elsewhere. Almost zero options here, unfortunately.

The information on this forum is fantastic and invaluable for someone like me. Look forward to soaking in the wealth of information abounding here!
