Salve,

My name is Adriana Esposito and I am second generation bespoke Neapolitan menswear tailor based in Casalnuovo di Napoli. I am here to join the Forum and therefore decided briefly to introduce myself to all members.

I am a graduate from the State Institute Isabella d'Este (Naples). I started my career in tailoring as an apprentice under my father in Naples and continued to learn the trade while working for various renowned bespoke tailors like Mariano Rubinacci until I decided to establish my own Sartoria in 2020. I named it: "Sartoria Esposito". My tailoring respects Neapolitan traditions but includes some additional details that I feel give it more contemporary edge.

Cordiali saluti,
Adriana

Longtime reader, first time poster.

Hoping to get feedback on some briefcases I'm designing (if/when I get permission to) and also just chat about men's fashion, which I've followed since grade school.

Hi received your email and will consider. I thought as this is "Introduce yourself" feed you can talk freely about yourself and what you do, my intention wasn't to advertise as I thought for that you sell banners and space in age forum. Adriana

Just taking a dive into the community.

We are a bespoke tailor house located in Canada. We've been around since the summer of 2019, and our master tailor is third generation.

Our house cut leans very British, with Italian influences. We have a more structured shoulder, and closed quarters; higher vents and lower button stances. Our house trousers have a 2" inch wide waistband with side adjusters and an extended closure. Our shirt collars are cut 3-dimensionally rather than being cut and attached from a flat surface.

Longtime lurker, first post.

East Coast (South) but spent a lot of time in Western Europe when I was younger. Investment Banker turned MD, still retain some Fleet Street tastes, especially my English shoe fetish.

Appreciate a good haircut, a close shave, tailored clothing, and fine shoes.

A former heavy poster on shaving forums and own a bevy of straights which I hone on WWII era Japanese stones.

Part cowboy too. I love my boots. English and Lucchese.

New guy here from the Netherlands.

I've been interested in menswear for quite some time but my tailoring wardrobe is very limited (I own 2 Suitsupply suits and that's about it). Hoping to change that soon and hope this forum can help me out with that.

If anyone has any tips on menswear in the netherlands, good online places to get cheap quality things (i.e. second-hand, like Vinted), or anything else that could be of use to someone starting out, I'd be happy to have your advice.

Just your typical mix of Italian and the midwest.

I am the suit specialist at the local Saks Fifth Avenue store.

Suiting is my passion. I love meaning behind it.

I do love Suitsupply suits. I have quite a few pieces from the Jort collection.

I love whites and blues together, especially with stripes.

Hello there, unfortunately I have no tips regarding The Netherlands other than I have really enjoyed my time visiting Holland, lovely people! Welcome to the forum!
