No problem. So, regarding the Gloverall, casual wear only and I'd advise age appropriate, 20's - early 30's maximum. Much more flexibility with either of the Buggati's.

Hah! I'm 20-30 yrs past my 20-30s so more age-appropriate it is. My wife agrees.

Leaning toward the taupe top-coat. Since it's a final sale there are no returns so I want to sleep on it. Thoughts on how it would wear on the informal side (darker jeans)?

For the taupe coat I'd go with either a black, medium tone grey, or medium tone blue suit.
For pairing with informal wear, black on black, blue jeans (either light or dark). Leave that drab in the lab! Splash some burgundy into the mix with a burgundy or dark brown scarf, burgundy trousers or jeans, burgundy-dark red button down shirt. Boots, boots, think lotsa different kinds of boots. Chlseas, chukkas, black, brown, wine red, and blue suede double monks. Now you're styling! As for the no return, you can get credit for a later exchange, you won't loose your money.

My favorite shoes are these Paul Evans oxblood chukkas and in winter it's the Cheaney Shackleton's so I'm on my way with boots & color. Color may tend toward the lighter shades (lilac, lighter blue, etc.) but I'm steadily moving away from the whites that populated my wardrobe 10 years ago. Thanks!

Hey all, new guy here. I don't really know much about fashion and I'm not at a point where I trust myself to just go into a store and buy anything beyond the most basic attire. I made an account here to hopefully remedy the situation : ). I'm a web dev by day, although I come from a very blue collar background (most of my friends and family are blue collar)... I would love to eventually have a look that blends my two worlds.

Hello everyone!
Been on and off StyleForum for awhile. Seem to have lost access to my old account so I'm starting from scratch.
Name is Adam. Live in west Michigan with my wife and 2 girls. Always been into fashion and now I'm lucky enough to be industry adjacent with my current job.

Cheers!

Adam
