Hello,

It's Mauro here,
I'm from the Italian Alps but I've been living in Scotland for a while now.

I developed a passion for classic men garment over the last few years and I went basically all in :).
After seen a few post and comments, I think I'm going to be just fine here.
Looks like a very healthy community full of gentleman.

To finish my presentation, I just launched a small website specialized in sock.

Talk to you soon gentleman

Regards
Mauro
Thank you

Hello, Poor_bear here.

I really interested in mes`s fashion, especially the western look, even though I live in South Korea haha... Anyway, I like the brands like RRL, Rogue Territory, Red wing. and etc. Is there anyone who also have interest in those brands or western look? I am here to talk!

Hi everyone,

I'm Scott, residing in Rochester New York. Not sure how to describe my fashion tastes; they're still developing! I've been interested in shoes for a few years now and just added a pair of Antonio Meccariello Aeris suedes (on sale) to a small collection that includes Paul Evans wholecut & chukkas, Ferragamo mocs & some Magnanni monk straps. Turning my attention now to a winter coat since my old one is threadbare and Rochester winter is coming!

I’d be more than happy to advice you on your winter coat.
Thanks! I'm looking at some Stolz Lodens. They seem to hit the sweet spot where they're not out of place with a (rarely but not never worn) suit and work well with the more common slacks/jeans & dress shirt.

Stolz Loden, with a tradition derived from Austrian hunting wear is an interesting choice. Just curious, any reason why SL and what do you find attractive about SL?

Hi my name is Samuel. Im from Texas and just recently got into casual menswear, having been a sneakerhead up until about 2yrs ago.I mostly own nuetral colored chinos (in various shades)and different polos and button ups.My dress shoe collection consist of high Derby's ,desert, and Oxford boots .I generally stick to close laced mid ankle designed because I'm flat footed and overpronate.Im a big fan on the forum and always checkout it's opinion researching a new brand

Well it also depends what kind of shoes you like, what you're looking for. For example I love Edward Green shoes. Unfortunately, many of their models are a bit too narrow fitting for me. I've done a significant amount of athletics in my life and my feet are seemingly getting wider in my current middle age status. With that in mind I started to invest in quality Italian footwear over the past few years, some French too. Here are a few brands that I would recommend. E. Zegna, Heschung, Harris, Lanvin, Officine Creative, Elia Maurizi, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, Frye, Paul Smith, Brunello Cucinelli, Vince, Adidas (wide) TImberland. I hope that this has been helpful to you.

It's interesting and unusual without being too obvious. (Avoiding the capes). Nice, clean lines and I do like the traditional green color.

A Duffel coat is another option, which would be nice until I need to wear a suit under it.

In the past I've had a more traditional overcoat and a dark pea coat. Both were nice; looking for something a bit different.

Suggestions?
