This behemoth of a man, Chuck Zito (pictured below). A personal favorite of mine from ROCKY, one of my all-time favorite movies: "Ah come on, Adrian, it's true. I was nobody. But that don't matter either, you know? 'Cause I was thinkin', it really don't matter if I lose this fight. It really don't matter if this guy opens my head, either. 'Cause all I wanna do is go the distance. Nobody's ever gone the distance with Creed, and if I can go that distance, you see, and that bell rings and I'm still standin', I'm gonna know for the first time in my life, see, that I weren't just another bum from the neighborhood."

Yep, Chuck Zito. Bodyguard, ex head of the Hells Angeles biker club. I've seen him and Sly in Beverly Hills together, perhaps when this photo was shot. Sly's a good guy. Shy, and very misunderstood.

Hi Everyone,

Call me Jordan. I'm here to upgrade my style by incorporating new looks and info from this forum. Long gone are the days of me rocking baggy, urban wear. My style has been continuosly evolving and now I've reached a plateau. I don't just want my clothes to fit I want them to fit well.

I like to be stylish on on an H&M budget. I usually find most of my clothes in the clearance rack at different stores. Shoes are the only thing I'll buy at full price and even then I have never gone above 3$ for a pair. But's now to the point where I seriously needing a GOOD tailor.
Welcome Jordan.

This is a thread in which you introduce yourself, regulars and new members alike. This is one thread I'd like to keep reasonably civil and reasonably clean, so, let's do that, okay?

I'll start. I'm Fok, one of the adminstrators on the forum. I have a bunch of kids and live in Idaho. If anyone told me any of the above 6 years ago, I would have wanted whatever they were smoking.

I wear jeans 24/7 - mostly Triple Works and RRL, and otherwise, have a lot of belts and overpriced Italian made sneakers. I mix up Wings+Horns, RRL, Jil Sander, Margiela, Haversack, Woolrich Woolen Mills, and SNS Herning,

Hope that you guys have a good time on the forum.

Cheers,

Fok.

Hi, James here.

I am from the land down under, now residing in Perth, Western Australia moved here from Melbourne.
Love it here, the weather is good and less populated city.

I am a shopaholic and like to be in touch with technology and fashion.
I am here mainly for reviews and forums where I can get feedback about stuff mainly clothing and electronics.

I also have an eye for detail for things so would be interested in sharing my experience to fellow members, if need be.

Cheers

My name is Tony and I am an executive for a casino company in Las Vegas. I have a bespoke suit tailor I work with out of Thailand and absolutely love the quality and selection he offers. Looking for ways to have a sharp and good looking wardrobe that is flexible enough to wear in the board room yet I can use pieces out on a Saturday night with the wife.

A newbie who is going through an early mid-life crisis. My interests lie in watches and more recently in unaffordable Italian tailoring. So I scour eBay looking for deals and secretly hoping that the clothes fit me without tailoring- I am 0/2.

Hi all,

I'm Tony from New Jersey (there are a lot of us out here). I teach theology at a university where someone recently told me about this site. It looks intriguing to say the least. An avid Jets fan, cook and glad to see what's here!

All best,
Tony

Welcome newbie. Wishing you good hunting for your Italian sartorial pleasure at prices that are affordable. What have you found so far, and what in Italian menswear strikes your fancy? I'm happy to help you if wish.
