Hi all. I'm Joseph from South Africa. I'm interested in fashion and clothes. I still have quality items which I bought 20 or 30 years ago. I had an eye for stylish, quality clothing as a young man. However for the last 30 years I haven't been interested in clothes due to work, marriage, kids etc. Now aged 60 and by myself again I decided to go back to the stylish man I was when I was 25 years old. I love Italian shoes, belts and leather jackets. I am on a buying spree at the moment and really enjoying it.

As recent fellow South African, any tips?

I've started to buy on EBay. I find that there is a bigger variety and prices are much better. Even with taxes and shipping there are bargains to be had. Especially with brands such as Ferragamo, Brioni etc.

I'm Nick and I live in Phoenix. I work in a hospital so mostly I wear scrubs. Both of these are a style pain for me since I enjoy clothes and dressing up. Hard to layer in 105 degrees.

Mostly when I get to dress up it's Allen Edmonds shoes, custom wool slacks, Drake's ties, and custom or Ledbury shirts.

Dressing casual is the challenge. In Arizona, jeans and t-shirt is dressing up and athletic wear is all the rage. So I alternated between jeans and dress shirt or chinos and a polo.

I joined style forum to focus on two things: 1) Classic style for men and; 2) The art of dressing well casually. Anyone can put on a suit and tie, although getting it just right is quite a feat. Making jeans and a shirt look good, that's harder than I would have thought.

Look forward to being part of this "club"!

Hi,

I am skiro, work in London. Have a 5yr old DD. Tasked with dressing up formal every workday! Always trying to improve on it with some changes.

Developing into a shoe person, recently invested in c&j cordovan boots and went crazy buying 4 pairs of grensons. And this forum is goi g to take a lot of time from me!

Names Matthew but everyone calls me Cardno. Was a surname, then a nickname in school now it's just a name.

Been a long time viewer unregistered with most of my glances towards anything country shoe related (brogues not cowboy boots)

Fan of trickers and just bought my first pair but apart from that I'm mainly a Loake brogue fan, particularly the 1880 Chester.

Hi, I'm Nazmi, I'm French (and Turkish), I'm 17., I live in Normandy in France, I'm a student in Geology, Biology and Chemistry, also I like tinkering stuff in my workshop/lab and doing stuff related to electronics and computers, especially GNU/Linux, the thing is that I suck when it comes to aesthetics and things of that ilk, that's why I'm here, to learn about style so that I can dress better and look better, because right now I'm considered quite [i can't find a proper adjective] by my friends...
Also it seems like a nice community to be part of :)

See ya !

Hello to everyone, I'm Eric 38 years old I got into fashion 2 1/2 years ago when I left my career as a BMW technician and became a service advisor. I was a complete ignorant to fashion and I spend soo much money on the begining that I hope I can help someone that is beginning to look better. Dressing better doesn't actually mean you need to wear suits or blazers. Simple jeans and sneakers is great look if you know how to do it right

hello everyone!

I am brand new to fashion and never thought twice about what I wore. For the last few months however I have been doing a lot of research and making an effort to dress nicer. So I plan to post quite frequently with many questions that a lot of you may see as basic or obvious, but for me I have no clue lol I'm sure a lot of people join here saying this so hopefully there are some helpful users out there willing to answer my many questions :)

Hi! My name is Pieter. I joined the forum today. I am a fan of luxury items. What I very much enjoy is shopping on the internet for bargains. That is also how I found the forum haha. I am a big James Bond fan. My favourite brands are Omega, NPeal, Aurélien, Canali and Kiton. I like to travel to warm destinations. My favourite clothing items would be my watch (Omega Seamaster 300m quartz which I bought recently) and my shoes (currently Aurélien driving shoes which I would definitely recommend for their value for money). Happy to join th forum. Cheers!

I may have been on this website before when I was researching leather jackets but I didn't register.
Well I found my leather jacket (schott 530) it's a perfect fit.
Now I'm back hunting for the perfect selvedge raw Denim jeans.
Wish me luck.

Hi, I'm Jeremy
I found this forum while trying to find a way to strip old polish off my Allen Edmonds and decided to stick around. I work at a Men's Wearhouse so I wear a lot of Joseph Abboud and Calvin Klein, but for footwear I love Allen Edmonds as they're made in my home state of Wisconsin. I'm one of those people that's just as comfortable in a three piece suit as I am wearing a punk rock jacket covered in studs and patches.
