Does anyone recommend which one is a good one to use.

I used to use Netzero because I could get 10 free hours per month. But, I got the newer version, and I've been having lots of problems since. I still get the advertising banner on the bottom, but the rest of the screen was blank. There was no homepage, and nothing to put in a URL. Then, while I was connected, I would click on internet explorer icon. Here, I would get a homepage. But, I kept getting the same homepage and this didn't really work either.

I figure I should probably pay for one. I don't need it to be that fast, and I don't need that many hours either.

I was thinking about just using all those free AOL CDs I get in the mail, and then canceling at the end of the month. Are there any drawbacks to this. Thanks.

Take the plunge and get cable internet service. It's worth the money - it's lightining fast and there are rarely problems.

Internet service is becoming a utility - much like phone or electricity. Pony up the dough.
