I find your comments about "drinking the koolaid" very offensive and your comment about "posting a few facts" quite condescending.

It is interesting that they look at things in that thread exactly opposite of where we generally stand.

Same reason I avoid GQ & GQ Forum, I don't care who wears the crap as long as it looks good and it is not a waste of money. I have been slowy trying to convert my wife from getting piles of crap that falls apart to fewer items of higher quality - it just does not make sense from a monetary nor environmental perspective.

I imagine posting there and trying to reason with these handbagistas is like pushing a boulder up a hill; or worse, discussing the virtues of black suits in a non-funeral environment with Manton. The fact that they do not understand the concept of why there is a mark-up is priceless.

It is disconcerting how huge the mark-ups are....but we keep buying because we want them.

My Vet has a 75% markup on a bottle of vitamin paste for my dog. Why????

Ever been to the Hospital ER lately where you will be charged 75 dollars for a Tylenol? Same stuff you can buy at a Dollar Store.
