The title says it all. I've been looking for thin ties for quite a while now, and with no luck. I'm looking for something of good quality, preferably in solid black.

Check eBay for Helmut Lang ties. They are a perfect width, not too thin, but definitely significantly less than normal. They all have really cool patterns too (including one that is solid black).

Thin like late 50's-early 60's thin. As in early 80's new wave thin?

Thrift shops in the US still have plenty of these. MY father has boxes of these in the attic.

I used to wear them in 1983.

Blargh, thrift stores would be a good idea, if Korea had them.

I've been getting a few skinny ties from eBay here and there. I think Ranjeev is about to go and post pictures of the ties he has for sale.
