1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Hello folks:

IMMSMC we are gathered here to gauge interest in trying to get Shyam "Mr Plal" Doshi to place an order for the Crockett & Jones Handgrade Tavistock (wingtip, no broguing) in black. According to his last email, in order for him to make the enquiry with C&J he would need at least 12 orders in the same color. Thus, could those of you interested possibly in this PM me using the Styleforum messenger? I've only got one message about this so far. We would need to ascertain if C&J would do it (Plal mentioned that they might feel he is undercutting another retailer's custom orders) and whether the price would be the same as the other Handgrades at Plal (roughly $400). We would also ask if there's any further discount possible but I am very doubtful of that. So, shoe fanatics, arise.... YOMIGAERU IRON SHOE.....

This is a very good idea, Kaga, and I would be in. However, I'm really only interested in the shoe in some species of brown.

i'm going to pm you right now to make my interest official. i'm also wondering if c&j paris would be willing to send us the shoes at a discount if we were to order 12 pairs directly from them.

edit: i'm with jcusey on this. i'd prefer brown.
