Hey guys,
I noticed at an estate sale a huge whack of beautiful Gieves and Hawkes suits and sportcoats, all in the same size-- what looks like a 40R or S with about a 32 waist and a 34 inseam. Somebody with short arms and long legs.
They're all made in England, what looks like half-canvassed, with buttons for braces and no beltloops. All classic single-breasted two-button cuts, and all for cooler weather; some wool/cashmere flannels, some wool flannels, some wool nailheads, and all in staple colours--some solids, a pinstripe, two chalkstripe, and a black nailhead and navy nailhead if memory serves. All surgeon cuffs. All in great shape.
They're too short for me in the arm or I'd get them all and have my winter wardrobe taken care of. I almost lost it when I saw them. But I can still pick them up if anybody wants.
It's a crazy haul. I don't like to eBay and would mostly do it to flip it on here and do somebody a solid. Interest? PM please.
