Hey gentlemen,

There was a thread about this. But it's archived.
I'm checking again for interest. I've been testing hand painting in silk. Already have an unfinished pocket square, and i'm considering other options.
Hand painting means you can get something out of your imagination or you can base it on an existing image and transforming it to be more usable as a pocket square.
i was looking for custom pocket squares, didn't find much, so i tried myself.
Since i'm doing tests i would like to check for interest and what people could ask.

Besides hand painting i'm testing another technique that will make other kinds of designs possible.
And still have another idea for pocket squares, i think this one will probably be very unusual but i think it might work for some designs.

Here is my first try:

It's not finished yet

I think the pocket square is that place where you can really share your personality, maybe even being a bit wild, because people only see a bit of it. Kind of like persons isn't it? We only see a bit of them. And i think it breaks the barrier between the clothes, your outside, your mask and your real self.

It's something you can have on you and give it. Something that goes near your heart, at the same time it's just a piece of fabric, it's not really needed, but it can be missed if you don't have it, or can grab attention if you do.

Isn't it also part of a gentlemen ensemble?

Thanks for your attention

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
