Would you be interested in buying a bi-color knit tie for $50?

Square ends. Front blade grass green. Back blade periwinkle or carolina blue. Derek, are you going to have the factory attach a Die, Workwear! label of your own design? Cause that would be awesome.

And is it possible to manufacture a knit tie with diagonal stripes. Like a repp knit? I'm assuming not because I've never seen one.

I've been wanting to start my own company for a while now, but only as a side project. My current occupation is too full time for me to do anything serious, but maybe doing really small runs, mostly for SF enthusiasts, would be a nice first step. :)

I may put labels on them, but they won't be called Die, Workwear. I took a total of five seconds to name my blog when I first started it because I didn't think I'd do more than post a few photos. If I could do it over again, I probably wouldn't have called it Die, Workwear. Will have to think of a name for the line, if I decide to start one.

I am very interested. Would you be able to produce a baby/light blue with white polka dot, pointed end, 2.75"-3" width, silk knit tie? I'd be interested in other colors/styles too. Especially the orange triangle one that Spoo sold for $300! True story

Sorry, man, that's how life is. You think, if we started all over, that we'd pick Spartan Red as the main color of the forum?

Would be willing to commit to a triangle end.

At least you didn't name the forum after some random clothing trend at the time.

A year since the last post, I guess Derek has completely abandoned this project.

Hmm, interesting. I like the idea doing a MTO for just our SF members.

Apologies to for the hi-jack, but I'd be totally down to do it for those interested. Bicolor and dual color (ie. Brown front blade/navy tail ala Guido) are all possible. I'd have to ask about a triangle tipped knit tie. I'll be using a German factory (the same one that makes the knits I've sold in my signature) as opposed to an Italian one, so prices will be a bit higher.

Could they be made in different lengths or is 145 cm the only option?

I'm sure it could but I'd have to ask to make sure.

Still interested, particularly in a caramel/blue combo similar to this:

I would also cast my vote for a triangular, rather than flat, bottom.

Bi-color or not, I would be interested in triangle-tipped knit ties, especially maroon.

I could go for this as well. Kent Wang had some, but they were only 2.75" wide.

Interested if longer length becomes available.

    Thanks.
