Inter-generational fashion influences

Hi. I'm new to this board but I've been lurking for a little while. I like the mix of young guys and older guys here. I'm wondering in what ways the younger guys have been influenced by what the older guys say, and vice versa. Have your fashion choices been influenced by the other group? If so, how?

Only fools and idiots do never change their minds .....We're all influenced by each other to a certain degree,even by the users we do not frankly appreciate...

Learning from others is the path to enlightment and we're learning from others mistakes and inside information....

I have personally learned a lot on this forum about designers ,products ,standards and also general knowledge...
Some users are very knowledgeable and will give you honest advices on your purchases...Others will just try to put you down.....C'est la vie!!!!!!!

At the university I've not been around in general any styles but causal and trad (or preppy). Though some faculty have done an Armani thing through the years.
