I was close to purchasing the Arc'teryx Keppel jacket for work but noticed it wasn't insulated. I like that it's gore-tex. Any suggestions for a something similar jacket but that is insulated?

is iinsulated?

I have the Arc'Teryx Keppel and it is a great coat. Obviously you're right that it is not insulated, so if that is what you are looking for, then it won't fit the bill, but I wear it all the time to work as a raincoat or in the shoulder seasons over a down vest or a sports jacket.

One to add to the above is the Norse Projects Rokkvi 5.0 Gore Tex and, for something a bit less pricey, look at the Vallier Outremont. I have actually ordered one each of the NP Rokkvi, the Veilance Monitor Down and the Thorsen. They should all arrive next week and I will compare/try them on and then return two and keep one. I will post my impressions of all three after I decide.

Have you considered a reversible?

Also, rain/trench coat with a lining:
