Insoles in Allen Edmonds?

Any thoughts on inserting custom orthotics into AE Strands? As the insoles in these shoes aren't removable, I assume you'd just slide the orthotic in on top. My orthotic has some sort of hard plastic around the heel/arch area. Will this be bad for wearing down on the cork? Ruin the shoe?

Provided you remove the orthotic inserts after a days wearing to let them air out, it will affect neither the shoes or the cork. Give it a try and keep us updated. Welcome to Styleforum.
