There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    I like the over-restoration.

So many old cars are a let-down when compared with new technology. If this is the way a guy can own the "perfect" version, then all credit to him for having the balls to do it.

Guy has an XKSS and a Bugatti Type 47 and people are drooling over the Lamborghini. [IMG]
No kidding. Compared to the 1938 Bugatti, that Lamborghini might as well be a Yugo.

I do like the looks of the old Bugatti, but I would certainly enjoy driving that Lambo.

Here's an appetizer from the MFA exhibit in '05.

I am really curious to see if I still have the other photos from this exhibit still on my computer at home, as I also have some shots from the Peterson museum in November. Dueling XKSSs anyone? If only the Peterson had bought the other Atlantic back in '10.

It's a 330 2+2 and probably would have cost more to restore than the final product is worth.

These cars are to die for. The man is a hero and a legend! His cars are the material of fantasies.

Nice cars! As an aside, some of the comments on that page referring to the decline in quality of Mr. Lauren's various labels are rather funny.

But very, very true. I mean the zippers on everything from Polo to RLPL are a joke.
