I am curious to know if anyone has ideas as to who made these Alligator shoes for Johnston & Murphy. Any comments or experiences on the quality of this line? They are made in Italy.

I recall J&M established a relationship with Mezlan. I don't know whether Mezlan is a shoe maker or simply a brand; however, Mezlan had several different styles of exotics, which I think these are.

Mezlan makes it's own shoes and shoes for other brands. They are the largest maker of exotic skin shoes.

I don't know who makes these, but I saw a few pair of Aristocraft at a Charlotte Airport JM store and they looked great, at least as good as AE. They were $375 retail though.

I think the black would look nice with jeans. Alot if not most nice shoes look anorexic with jeans IMO.
