Hi guys.

What do you think of the utility vest from Informale? I think it looks kind of cool on Steve Calder, but cannot decide if it is too.... strange?

Yes, strange. What purpose does it serve? To carry around a bunch of crap you really don’t need?

i think it looks fine on you -- just with a very casual outfit. Not the first one with the tailored? pants and the button-down long sleeve shirt. Works better with the second outfit.

I like utility vests, but don't like the tailored menswear versions. The lapels look a bit corny.

I think once you give up the sport coat or suit jacket, it helps to give up on the idea that dressing well necessarily has to mean dressing "smart." If you like utility vests, I think you'd be better in a very casual workwear outfit.

ah. good point on the lapels. TBH I did not notice them, but once you pointed them out I agree.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree with dieworkwear, and I will let this pass.
