First of all, thanks for all the precious contents you are adding every day to this forum. I'm reading it avidly, and enjoying every post.

I've only recently (last year, basically) started building a wardrobe of "quality" clothes and shoes. In particular, I have a Church's and Cheaney black oxfords that I use at the office, and I'm currently looking for something more informal to wear on the weekend with jeans and sport jacket.

I'm looking for a good quality, english made shoe, something like a brown derby (or brogue) that can look smart but not too formal. A model I really like in the Church's Shannon triple sole, which comes also with a healthy 400+ pounds price tag (not a deal breaker, but I'd be happy to spend a bit less :)

Do you have any suggestion/brand I should be looking at?

Many thanks.
